Our Story
SavexBot launched in 2024 with a simple goal: write about money in a way that actually makes sense to real people. Not finance professionals. Not people who already have $100,000 in savings. Real people with real jobs, real debts, and real questions about where their paycheck goes.
We got tired of reading articles that said things like "maximize your 401(k) contributions" without ever explaining what a 401(k) is. Or guides that start with "open a brokerage account" as if that takes five seconds and zero anxiety.
So we started from scratch. Every article on this site is written for someone who has never thought seriously about personal finance before. That means we define every term, use real dollar amounts, and give you steps you can actually follow.
What We Cover
Our content falls into six areas:
- Budgeting: Setting up a budget that works for your life, not some textbook example.
- Saving money: Finding extra money in your current spending without feeling deprived.
- Investing basics: How to start investing with small amounts and why time matters more than the amount.
- Debt payoff: Strategies that actually get you out of debt without destroying your motivation.
- Extra income: Real side hustles and ways to boost your income without quitting your day job.
- Credit scores: Understanding credit and using it to your advantage instead of being afraid of it.
Our Editorial Standards
We do not take money to recommend products. We do not inflate search rankings by writing fluffy content. Every article is reviewed for accuracy before it goes live.
When we recommend something, it is because we have researched it. When we say something is a bad idea, we explain exactly why with real numbers.
